PURPOSE:To prevent the occurrence of noise by attaching a pressure plate with an adhesive in lapping manner to the back side of a backing metal on the inside of which is a frictional member is fixed. CONSTITUTION:A pad has a structure in which a friction member 6 is fixed to the insdie of a steel plate backing metal 5, an adhesive 7 is coated on the back side of the backing metal 5, and a pressure plate 8 is overlaid on the adhesive 7 layer in such a way as to sandwich the adhesive 7 between the backing metal 5 and the pressure plate 8. The adhesive used includes mixtures of natural rubber, isobutylene rubber, etc., with rosin, a synthetic resin, zinc white, etc., having a proper tackiness and porper vibration absorbability. |
