PURPOSE:To provide a printer capable of directly forming recording informations on transparent films by a construction wherein a ultraviolet rays irradiator, a preheater and a thermal head are provided in due order with respect to a vesicular film and those members are provided with means for conveying the film. CONSTITUTION:In a printer recording informations on a vesicular film (ultraviolet sensitive type thermal fixing film) serving as a recording medium (whose substrate is formed of a transparent film) used for an overhead projector or so, ultraviolet rays are uniformly irradiated from ultraviolet rays irradiators 2, 21 all over the vesicular film 1. Then, the vesicular film 1 is preheated by a preheater 3 to uniformly generate bubbles of nitrogen gas all over the vesicular film 1 so that it becomes opaque. Thereafter, the film 1 is sent to a thermal head 4, where it is heated up to the temperature higher than the preheating temperature in accordance with an information signal from a CRT display device 5, so that those bubbles corresponding to the information signal are extinguished to obtain information pictures. |
