PURPOSE:To achieve excellent reproduction without any influence of some abrasion of a stylus tip by setting the width of the 1st electrode part on the electrode-formed surface of a reproducing stylus less than that of the 2nd electrode part, and by forming the edge of the 2nd electrode part outside of the prolonged line of the edge of the 1st electrode part. CONSTITUTION:On one surface of a reproducing stylus body 16 made of diamond, an electrode 17 is stuck, and cut parts 19a and 19b are so formed that the width of the electrode 17 near the tip part is nearly constant width W1 over prescribed length (h), thus forming the 1st electrode part 17a and 2nd electrode part 17b. In the stylus, it is so constructed that the width W1 of the 1st electrode part 17a between a couple of edges is the edge width of a successive connection part 20a between the electrode-formed surface and a sliding contact surface 20, and less than the minimum value of the 2nd electrode part 17b between a couple of edges; and a couple of edges of the 2nd electrode part are outside of the prolonged lines of a couple of edges of the 1st electrode part 17a to the 2nd electrode part 17b. |
