<p>PURPOSE:To prevent the cracking of a side wall and a floor plate, by separately paneling the inner walls of an electrostatic precipitator (EP) chamber, and leaving sufficient clearance against the expanded part due to heat in the title ferroconcrete EP. CONSTITUTION:The inner wall of the EP chamber is formed with the separately paneled precast concrete plates (PC plate 1), and a sufficient clearance 9 is provided to each PC plate 1 against the thermally expanded part. The inside of a dust collecting chamber 8 is heated to about 180 deg.C by the operation of the EP, hence the PC plate 1 is thermally expanded. However, the expansion can be reasonably absorbed by a packing 4 and the clearance 9. Consequently, the cracking of the side wall and the floor plate due to thermal expansion is prevented, and the service life of the dust collecting chamber can be prolonged.</p> |
