PURPOSE:To obtain a mimeographic stencil paper, which is convenient for handling and capable of being satisfactorily preserved in stable condition, by joining a mimeorgaphic printing sheet to a pasteboard, by applying a specially made solid wax onto the entire surfaces, to such a strength that they can be exfoliated. CONSTITUTION:On a porous tissue paper having unit weight of 5-15g per square meter and thickness of 10-60mu, an ink-impermeable film forming material (such as, nitrocellulose, etc.) is coated at the rate of 20-50g per square meter to obtain a mimeographic printing sheet. Onto a pasteboard having unit weight of 40-100g per square meter and thickness of 30-120mu, a solid wax having melting point of 50-150 deg.C, preferably of 70-100 deg.C, (such as, carnauba wax, etc.) is applied, and the mimeographic sheet is thermally pressed upon this wax coated surface. |
