PURPOSE:To allow the switching during the running by coupling an inner hub inscribed with an outer hub connected to the wheel of a driven wheel with the tip of the drive shaft of the driven wheel movably in the axial direction during the two-wheel-drive running and controlling the axial movement by a remote operation from a car room or the like. CONSTITUTION:At the four-wheel-drive, an inner hub 11 is moved to an outer hub and cover 8 side by a spring 12, and outer periphery teeth 82 are engaged with inner periphery teeth 81. An operating bar 16 is drawn by a guide board 15 and located at the right end of a pipe clutch 17. Under this condition, the inner and outer hubs 11, 8 are integrally rotated. On the other hand, at the two-wheel-drive, an operating lever in a driver's cab is pulled, the pipe clutch 17 is rotated by the preset angle via a lug 22, the profiling section 23 of the operating bar 16 coupled with a guide groove 21 is moved to a drive shaft joint 3 side, and the inner hub 11 is moved against the spring 12 in the direction apart from the outer hub 8 via the guide board 15. Accordingly, the engagement of both teeth 82, 81 is released, and a drive shaft 2 and a wheel 7 are set to a free state.
