PURPOSE:To suppress the resonance of a pad at various frequencies and prevent the noise from generating by a structure wherein a point, which is located a little obliquely aside from the central point of the pad and rendered to be the loop or near the loop of vibration, is pressed down. CONSTITUTION:A bolt 6 is fixed at the point X, which is located a little obliquely aside from the central point 0 rendering to be the node of vibration, on the back metal 5 of an outer side pad 3 pressed down by caliper jaws 4a. The both ends of a plate spring 7, nearly certral part of which is supported by the bolt 6, elastically contact with the outer surfaces of the caliper jaws 4a. Owing to the structure that the point X, which is located a little aside from the central point 0 of the pad 3, is elastically supported by the caliper jaws 4a through the bolt 6 and the plate spring 7, even if the pad 3 may be tempted to vibrate, the pad 3 is difficult to vibrate as a whole, because the point X, which is rendered to be the loop or near the loop of vibration, is pressed down so as not to vibrate freely at either frequency. |
