PURPOSE:To provide a hanger of small electric resistance and less clattering in the manufacture of the hanger for plating by securing branch rods firmly to a main rod and providing metallic coating layers on prescribed places. CONSTITUTION:A hanger for plating is constituted of a main rod 1 made of copper having a hook type part 1a at the top end, and a large number of branch rods 2 made of stainless steel. A plurality of assemblies each consisting of two pieces of the rods 2 which are welded by means of an S-shaped member 3 made of stainless steel within the same plane are disposed on the rod 1 in its longitudinal direction, and are driven and secured to the rod 1 with a press. Next, copper is melt sprayed to these except the part 1a of the rod 1 and the end parts 2a of the rods 2 to form coating layers 4, and finally the layer 4 is coated therein completely with a synthetic resin coating layer 5 for insulation, whereby the corrosion of the copper of the rod 1 by plating solns. and the deposition of plating metal on the main rod and the branch rods is prevented. |
