PURPOSE:To prevent a transparent peep window as a shielding part from tarnishing in a heating cooker provided with a gas sensor by a method wherein a magnetron cooling blower is driven discontinuously and a gas generated from food in the oven is exhausted intermittently. CONSTITUTION:In sensor cooking, food 7 to be cooked is put on a shelf plate 8, a door 2 is closed, a changeover damper 20 is provided near the air suction hole 5 of a blast duct 18 and is opened at a dotted line position by an operation button (not shown). When under such a state, a cooling fan 12 and heaters 9, 10, all of which are intermittently operated, are energized, the cooking material 7 is heated by the heaters 9, 10 and the food gas generated at this time is detected by a gas sensor 17 on an exhaust duct 15 to control cooking. At this time, since the fan 12 produces intermittent air flow, the transparent peep window (not show) as a shielding part in the gas sensor 17 is prevented from tarnishing. |
