COMBUSTION DEVICE FOR LIQUID FUEL

PURPOSE:To make the titled device smaller and to expand the range of combustion by a structure wherein a premixed air passage which does not pass through the heater and an evaporating tube, is provided in parallel to the evaporated gas passage between a suction wick and an evaporating tube provided partially with a positive resistance characteristic heater. CONSTITUTION:The lower part of a suction wick 1 is dipped in an oil tank 3 and the upper part is provided in an evaporating tube 4 to make an evaporating part 2. On the upper part of this evaporating part 2, the positive resistance characteristic heater 5 is fixed firmly to the step 8 of the evaporating part 2 through an insulating plate 7. Outside the suction wick 1 and the evaporating tube 4 an outer tube 11 is provided concentrically and connected to a combustion part 12 on the lateral side through a joint hole 10 and further to an air supply fan 13 on the upper part of the outer tube through an air supply passage 17. A triangular space parts 14 are provided between the evaporating part 2 of the suction wick 1 formed in the form of a tuck and the outer surface of the evaporating tube 4, introduces the evaporated gas in the direction of the arrow, joined to the premixed air from a premixing passage 15 outside a heater 5 and supplied to a combustion part 12.
