PURPOSE:To enable microwave range cooking and oven cooking to be effectively done by a hot air current circulating type microwave range, in which a heat shielding plate of a microwave transmitting material is interposed between a hot air current heating means and a stirrer. CONSTITUTION:A cooker is provided with a stirrer 2 for stirring microwave and the hot air current heating means including a sheathed heater 3 and a fan 4 above a cooking chamber 1, and the fan 4 can be rotated via a belt 8 by a fan motor 6a. The fan motor 6a also serves to cool a magnetron 6 located below it. In this arrangement, the heat shielding plate 9 is arranged between the stirrer 2 and the hot air current heating means. This heat shielding plate 9 is made of a material capable of transmitting microwaves and excellent in resistant to heat, such as porcelain, earthenwave, or the like, and is formed to have a round recess 9a through the center of which a driving shaft 4a of the fan 4 extends. |
