PURPOSE:To provide a radiation type heater, in which a heating panel is detachably mounted on the front surface of the heater body, so that by attaching or detaching the panel the heating capacity of the heater body can be improved and radiant heat can be provided to a user. CONSTITUTION:The heating paenl 4 having an electrical heater 5 on one side thereof and a heat insulator on the other side is detachably mounted by hooks 7 on the front-plate 6 of the heater body 1 containing a heat exchanger 2, a blower 3, etc. In the heating operation, air sucked from the room into an inlet 9 is blown off by the blower 3 from a blowoff outlet 10. In this case, by operating the heat exchanger 2 with the heating panel attached and the electric heater 5 fed by current via an electric source code 8, the heating capacity can be increased by the forced convection of the heating panel 4. If a user is away from the heater body 1, the heating panel 4 can be detached, and positioned near the user so that he is provided with the radiant heat. |
