PURPOSE:To exclude the wastes, and to simplify the procedure, by layering alternatively flat sheets and corrugated sheets to form each block, and cutting opposite ends of each block where passages are open into shapes to conform with the shapes of inner and outer circumferencial edges of a centrifugally blowing side plate thereby forming heat exchange blocks. CONSTITUTION:Corrugated sheets 12 and flat sheets 11 of paper or the like are alternatively layered to from each block, the opposite ends of the block is cut to conform with the inner and outer circumferential edges of the centrifugally blowing side plate 4 as shown by dotted lines 16, 17 so as to obtain each heat exchange block 2, and the heat exchange blocks 2 are mounted between the side plate 4 and a main plate 3 with the passages 1 extending radially, and are arranged with a space 5 between the blocks 2 to obtain a hollow cylindrical heat exchange element 6. The element 6 is rotatably supported in a spiral casing having an outlet. As a result, waste parts that do not contribute to heat exchange can be excluded, and the procedure can be simplified. |
