PURPOSE:To ensure the prevention of false starting by connecting a speed change lever switch to a starting circuit of a starter so that the speed change lever switch is arranged in series to both of a starter switch and an inhibitor switch which are arranged in the starting circuit and connected together in series. CONSTITUTION:A starter relay 3 is connected between a battery 1 and a starter motor 2 and has a coil 3b connected to the battery 1 through a circuit consisting of a starter switch 4, a parking position detecting switch 5a of an inhibiter switch 5 and a parking position confirming switch 9, and as well through a circuit consisting of the switch 4 and a neutral position detecting switch 5b of the switch 5. Accordingly, the relay 3 never actuates and the starter motor 2 is, therefore, also never driven even if the parking position detecting switch 5a is turned on, since the parking position confirming switch 9 is not turned on unless the shift lever surely takes a parking position. |
