摘要 PURPOSE:To provide good multiple transfer characteristic in spite of the change in transfer electric field by controlling the electric charge quantity of the toners in respective developers in such a way that the toner transferred at the 2nd color transfer has larger triboelectric charge quantity than the toner transferred at the 1st, and the toner transferred at the 3rd color transfer than that at the 2nd. CONSTITUTION:This relates to a method of controlling the triboelectric charge quantity of the toner to be transferred next to a larger quantity than that of the toner to be transferred previously, wherein the electrostatic latent image formed on a photosensitive drum 19 is first visualized by the developer in a developing device 16-1 and is transferred onto the transfer material on a transfer drum 19 by a transfer Corotron 21. Further, the toner powder image developed by the developer in a developing device 16-2 as the 2nd color is also transferred to the transfer material by the Corotron 21 and the 3rd time is accomplished in the same way. The drum 19 rotates by a prescribed time while holding the transfer material, whereby images of a prescribed number of color are transferred in multiplicity.
