PURPOSE:A bath preparation that contains sodium percarbonate and ferrous sulfate as the major components, thus removing waste materials from a body on bathing and keeping the body warm for long hours after bathing. CONSTITUTION:The objective preparation contains sodium percarbonate and ferrous sulfate as the major components. When they are blended and stored, an alkaline agent such as soda ash or sodium bicarbonate are added as a stabilizer so that the aqueous solution is kept weak alkali, e.g., at 9.5-10pH. Preferably, soda ash (20%) is impregnated with 50% ferrous sulfate aqueous solution and they are dried, then sodium percarbonate added to 20% soda ash aqueous solution is combined with the above dried powder for blending. When the resultant bath preparation is poured into a bath, the sodium percarbonate gradually decomposes to liberate oxygen and a part of the ferrous sulfate becomes ferric oxide to peel off and remove waste materials from the body. At the same time, iron ion dissociates from the ferrous sulfate to keep the body warm for hours. |
