PURPOSE:To obtain a speaker diaphragm having high rigidity, by impregnating the thermosetting resin into the base material made of the silicon carbide fiber and heat-mold this material. CONSTITUTION:The thermosetting resin 2 such as the epoxy resin, etc. is impregnated into a base material 1 made of the woven or unwoven fabric of silicon carbide fiber. The heat and press-mold is given to these materials to obtain a conical diaphragm main body 3. Then a free edge 4 is stuck to the main body 3 to obtain a speaker diaphragm. Such diaphragm excels in the molding properties and the adhesive properties to the thermosetting resin with a light weight and has the sufficient flexural rigidity and a proper Q value with high rigidity. |
