PURPOSE:To carry out the packing of a raw TOFU (bean curd) in high efficiency, without causing collapse of TOFU, by equipping a device for holding and transferring empty packs in a tank containing flowing water and raw TOFU pieces, wherein said pack-holding device moves perpendicularly to the direction of water flow and receives the TOFU piece. CONSTITUTION:The empty pack 32 supplied by the sutomatic empty-pack feeder 30 is held with the endless holding device 7, and transferred by te chain-driven mechanism 29 into the tank 2 containing flowing water and pieces of raw TOFU 40. The TOFU piece 40, which is being stirred with the water jet ejected from the small holes of the water pipe 45, is put into the empty pack 32, passed through the outlet casing 5, and sent to the next step through the chute 38. |
