PURPOSE:To obtain intended fiber density and high strength by making the wax of a molding of a mixture of wax and fibers made to intended fiber density exchangeable with matrix metal, and forming the matrix metal and fiber to one piece. CONSTITUTION:A mixture of molten wax 4 and short fibers 2 is molded beforehand to a molding 6 of the mixture having intended fiber density with dies 5 of a prescribed shape. Next, a sprue 7 made of wax or the like is melt-suck to this molding 6, and a coating layer and a sanding layer are applied on the outside circumference thereof, whereby a refractory layer 9 is formed. Next, these are heated to elute the wax component 4, thereby forming a mold 10 packed with the fibers in the cavity. Thereafter, matrix metal is poured into the mold 10, and the fibers and the metal solidify to one piece. |
