The invention relates to a supporting device for excavators, cranes or other mobile lifting and conveying means, consisting of supporting members which are linked to the chassis or the underbody, can be pivoted by hydraulic piston/cylinder units and are provided at their free ends with supporting blocks. To achieve the object of creating a supporting device of robust and simple construction with a large supporting base which is suitable for both excavators and cranes and can be set up in a simple manner without manual work, each of the supporting members, while forming a four-bar system, is linked by two links to the chassis or the underbody, and the piston rod of the piston/cylinder unit, the cylinder of which is connected to the chassis or underbody in an articulated manner, is linked to one of the links, a lever rigidly connected to the latter, or in one of the joints connecting the links to the supporting member. <IMAGE>
