<p>The combinations have antibiotic properties and contain a compound of the general formula <IMAGE> in which R<1> is hydrogen, methyl, hydroxymethyl, a mono-, di- or trihalogenomethyl group; R<2> is a lower alkyl, hydroxy-lower-alkyl or guanidino-lower-alkyl radical which is characteristic of an alpha -amino acid which does not normally occur in proteins, and the configurations at C atoms (a) and (b) are R (when R<1> NOTEQUAL H) and L respectively, or a physiologically tolerated salt of a compound of this type, and a nocardicin antibiotic, and are used in pharmaceutical preparations.</p> |
