PURPOSE:To enhance crystallizability of magnetic powder and the crystal orientation degree, by grinding magnetic alloy ingot of single crystal in matrix phase and binding the ground ingot with a binder. CONSTITUTION:There are other phases in a single matrix phase of crystal made of rare-earth elements obtained by Czochralski method, Bridgman method, or FZ method. The crystal is heated at 1,100-1,200 deg.C in Ar gas atmosphere and made into solid solution totally or mostly within matrix phase. It is ground to powder of 2-30mu diameter after the aging treatment at 400-1,200 deg.C and pressure-formed in a magnetic field, after adding 1.6wt% of resin and kneading. A binder consists of organic macromolecule (epoxy, nylon, vinyl chloride, etc.), inorganic macromolecule (silicon polymer, phosphorous polymer, etc.), metal (Sm, Pb, Sb, etc.) and the like. It is effective in improvement of magnetic performance to add lubricant which reduces the friction coefficient of magnetic powder. |
