PURPOSE:To obtain a photoconductive member free from optical fatigue and residual potential and capable of being used repeatedly by forming a photoconductive layer made of Si atom-base amorphous material and an intermediate layer made of B atom-base amorphous material on a support. CONSTITUTION:A photoconductive member 100 is composed of an electrically conductive or insulating support 101 made of NiCr, stainless steel, Al, Cr, polyester, polyethylene, polycarbonate or the like, an intermediate layer 103 and a photoconductive layer 102. The layer 103 is made of amorphous material alpha- Bx(HyX1-y)1-x contg. B, H and halogen atoms, and the layer 102 is made of amourphous silicon such as p type alpha-Si(H,X), n type alpha-Si(H,X) or i type alpha- Si(H,X). |
