<p>A roller press for a paper machine comprises a first pressure roller (10) and a second pressure roller (11) forming together a pressing nip. An endless felt (19) circulates on guiding rollers (21 to 25) in the pressing nip and about the first roller (10). A cantilever support (16) extending through the felt (19), from the guiding side to the driving side, and bearing on a fixed frame element (7) on the driving side, is used as a support for the pressure roller (10) on the guiding side when changing the felt. Furthermore, the guiding rollers (21, 22) adjacent to the first pressure roller (10) are fixed at least on the guiding side immediately to the cantilever support (16). Thereby, they may stay in the roller press when changing the first pressure roller (10).</p> |
