A transfer device (11) is arranged between a preforming device and a pressing device for pads (17). The long parallel webs of L-shaped pressing jaws (12, 13) have a gag corresponding to the diameter of the pad (17). The short webs of the pressing jaws are aligned with the other jaws. The width of the pressing jaws corresponds at least to the length of the pad (17) and of the drawback band. The transfer device (11) is movable according to a reciprocating motion, perpendicularly to the pressing jaws (12, 13); it has a conduit corresponding to the pressing device in an open position, as well as a gripping channel corresponding to the pressing device in a closed position. A pusher (24) aligned with the transport channel (21) and another pusher (27) aligned with a gripping channel and with the injection channel are connected to the transfer device (11). A cylindrical pusher (26) is arranged behind the pressing device. It may move in the pressing device in a closed position to eject the pad (17) outside the pressing device and put it in the gripping channel. |
