PURPOSE:To prevent a dry firing of a petroleum stove by a method wherein a pointer or an indicater piece of the float type oil volume gauge causes an automatic distinguishing device to be electrically or mechanically operated when a volume of oil is decreased less than a specified volume. CONSTITUTION:When a volume of petroleum 11 in the oil tank 1 is decreased less than a specified volume, a float 3 is descended, pointer 6 is moved on the scale and contacted to an electrical contact point 7. Thereby, a switching circuit is closed to cause the relay 10 to be operated and thus an automatic distringushing device (not shown) to be operated to perform a distinguishing operation. With this arrangement, when a volume of oil is decreased less than a specified volume of oil, the stove is automatically distinguished and so it is possible to prevent a dry firing thereof. |
