PURPOSE:To obtain the stable and highly reliable ink jet recording device by pressing and connecting electrode leads of an ink jet head and a head driving and controlling part each other. CONSTITUTION:A head unit comprises three main parts; i.e., a divided multiple array type head 202; a semiconductor attaching substrate 208 on which a driving and controlling element 209, which is provided in correspondence with said head 202 and comprises a transistor array and the like, are fixed by conductive bonding agent and the like; and a multilayer wiring substrate 211. It is advantageous that the substrates 208 and 211 are fixed to a common supporting plate 213 at first so as to form an actually mounted wiring part independently and thereafter the supporting plate 213 is fixed to a supporting plate 201, in consideration of easy processing of bonding and the like. Furthermore, the lead wires 210 are bonded to the driving and controlling element 209, and are pressed and connected to the other end of a flexible printed board 205 by a pushing jig 214. |
