<p>The scraper for the nib of a hot soldering iron is comprised of a box having a neck shaped upper portion (1) and a lower portion (2) used as a container for a reserve of metal wool (4) projecting partially outside the opening of the neck (3) and of which the bearing surface is provided with an antisliding layer. On the bottom surface (7) of the lower portion (2) there is arranged a thin magnetic plate (8) and/or an adhering layer (9). The magnetic plate (8) is comprised of a rubber, plastic or similar material sheet (11), wherein are incorporated magnetized metal particles. Between the bottom surface (7) and the sheet (11) there may be arranged a magnetizable sheet iron plate (12). An adhesive plate (13) which may be detached from the magnetic plate (8) has on its surface (14) remote from the magnetic plate the sticking layer (9). On the upper portion (1) of the scraper there is arranged a droplet catcher (17, 18) surrounding and opening towards the opening of the neck (3).</p> |
