<p>PURPOSE:To execute the picture rotary processing by simple constitution, by scanning and sampling a picture by a squarelike picture element units, diagonally scanning and resampling an adjacent picture element, and deciding a density level of the original picture element. CONSTITUTION:An input picture signal is coded to binary number by a quantizer 1, is sent to a picture element address indicator 2 together with an address signal, and also is stored in a picture memory 4 through a memory address indicator 3. In this state, when a rotary angle designating signal, and a signal for designating a picture area to be rotated are applied to the indicator 2, the indicator 2 selects rotary coordinates and indicates an address of a reproducing picture element. As a result, the indicator 3 converts its indicated picture element address to a memory address, and sends out readout data from the picture memory 4, to a picture element level discriminator 5. This discriminator 5 decides a density level of the reproducing picture element in accordance with data from the picture memory 4 and a white level generator 6.</p> |
