PURPOSE:To promote the success rate of yarn-stretching by holding a yarn rapidly for sure by means of a yarn-stretching means provided on an end of an empty bobbin and keeping the length of the yarn constant between the yarn- stretching means and a cutter. CONSTITUTION:When a shaft 35 is driven clockwise, a roller chain 33 in a square pipe 34 is driven via a sprocket 36, and a yarn Y6 running between an introduction guide 14 and a winding position guide 16 is scooped up by a yarn- stretching guide 31 equipped on one end of the chain 33 via a guide holder 32, and drawn up to an end face of an empty bobbin B provided on a cradle arm 44 along the crooked route of a square pipe 34 previously set. At this stage, the yarn-stretching route is temporarily bypassed by a timing guide 28 provided in the upper stream of a yarn-stretching ratchet wheel 30, and the yarn is released in an instant from the bypass yarn route to the yarn-stretching route. Consequently, the yarn is ensured to bite in the ratchet wheel 30, and the length of the yarn between the ratchet wheel 30 and a cutter 41 can be kept constant. This construction allows to promote the success rate of yarn-stretching greatly. |
