PURPOSE:To promote the success rate of yarn-stretching by preventing a yarn from breaking in the process to draw up the yarn wound up on a waste roller to an end of an empty bobbin for winding up on the empty bobbin. CONSTITUTION:In this yarn-stretching method, a yarn-stretching guide 31 is moved to guide a yarn Y6 running to a waste roller 19 newly to an end of an empty bobbin B, and temporarily stopped just before the yarn Y6 is wound up on the empty bobbin B. After the tension of the yarn Y6 running between the above-said guide 31 and the above-said waste roller 19 is kept constant, the above-said guide 31 is again moved for lowering the tension of the running yarn Y6 for yarn-stretching. Consequently, the tension of the yarn can be easily set in accordance with the characteristic by sorts, and since the yarn Y6 is prevented from an unnecessary large tension for drawing up the yarn Y6 mounted on the waste roller 19 to the end of the empty bobbin B, the yarn can be previously protected against breaking on the way. This construction permits to promote the sucess rate of yarn-stretching greatly, and obtain a very stabilized operation. |
