PURPOSE:To improve the surface smoothness, to eliminate the need for polishing as secondary processing, to increase the strength of metallic drum and to make the drum light, by forming the metallic drum for image holding member through shock cold extruding processing of metallic material. CONSTITUTION:Drive processing of image holding member is made onto one end surface 11 of a metallic drum 7 formed with shock cold extruding processing. On another end surface, a flange gear 13 is fitted. The end surface 11 is latched with a hook 9 of a link gear 8 fitted to a main body 10, and the torque of the link gear is delivered to the image holding member. Since the metallic drum being a large element in manufacturing and cost can be manufactured very simply by the image holding member, the cost can be reduced much and light weight can be achieved. |
