PURPOSE:To assemble an assembly type rolling roll easily by heating a roll shaft and flange rings to expand, and mounting a roll ring and a spacer ring then mounting and fixing the flange rings and cooling the roll shaft. CONSTITUTION:Rings 1-4 are removed from a shaft 7, and a ring 5 is held mounted. Next, the shaft 7 mounted with the ring 4 and ring 5 is put into a heater where it is heated to expand. After the heating, the shaft 7 is removed from the heater, and the rings 1, 2, 3 are mounted to the shaft 7 in prescribed assembly order, after which the ring 4 is mounted to the shaft 7 by means of screws 6. When the shaft 7 is cooled after the mounting, it shrinks and the side faces of the rings 1, 2, 3 are compressed powerfully by the side faces of the flange rings 4, 5, and are thereby fixed to the shaft 7, and this completes the assembled roll. |
