PURPOSE:To obtain an electrostatic recording material superior in imaging characteristics, friction resistance, etc. even in high temperature and high humidity, by providing a dielectric resin layer containing a thermoplastic resin and a silicone resin or a conductive substrate. CONSTITUTION:A dielectric layer formed on a conductive substrate contains 100pts.wt. thermoplastic copolymer of especially 20-60mol% styrene, 5-20mol% acrylic or methacrylic acid, 20-75mol% straight or branched 1-12C alkyl acrylate or methacrylate or glycidyl ester; and 5-100pts.wt. silicone resin, thus permitting the obtained electrostatic recording paper to be free from styrene odor evolved in fixing, superior in resistance to water and heat, low in triboelectrification, and suitable for high-speed electrostatic printing and high-speed copying. |
