PURPOSE:To prevent misuse, and to simplify the transaction processing, to quicken the speed and to prevent the reduction in the service, by prolonging the released data which discriminates the reasonability of a secret code in response to the increase in the number of times of mis-input of the secret code. CONSTITUTION:If the number of mis-input times of a secret code is within an effective number of times, the discrimination of the proficiency of the secret code by the number of times is permitted, and a CPU11 sets the released data of a storage area 3d of a random access memory 30 after a short limit time. After the effective number of times is exceeded, the judgement of the proficiency is inhibited for a comparatively short time at first, and the time of a released data 33d inhibiting the discrimination of proficiency of the secret code is made longer gradually as the number of times of mis-input is increased thereafter. Thus, misuse and the decrease in service are prevented. |
