PURPOSE:To avoid the damage to a gate due to flowing woods without delay in control and to achieve transition of the gate to oriffice state at all times, by keeping the distance between the dam water level and the gate lower end accompanied with the movement of the water level constant. CONSTITUTION:First, a prescribed distance A0 is provided from the water surface and a prescribed band width alpha is determined with respect to it. The value of A0-alpha is taken for a sufficient value not causing the damage to the gate due to flowing woods. Further, the value of A0+alpha is taken for a value moved to the water surface with a time less than the control sampling time. Next, the gate opening and the dam water level are fetched at every control sampling time, the water level variance is obtained from the previous water level, the maximum value is obtained by comparing it with the previous water level variance and the interval An between te gate lower end and the dam water level is obtained. When the An is An<A0-alpha or An>A0+alpha, gate control is made so that the An is A0. When A0-alpha<=An<=A0+alpha, no gate control is made. |
