PURPOSE:A heat storing agent composition, consisting of sodium acetate trihydrate, magnesium acetate tetrahydrate and a crystal nucleating agent, capable of storing and releasing the heat safely for a long term, and effective for the utilization of energy, e.g. solar heat, of unstable supply. CONSTITUTION:A heat storing composition prepared by incorporating (A) 100 pts.wt. sodium acetate trihydrate with (B) 100pts.wt. or less magnesium tetrahydrate and (C) a crystal nucleating agent, e.g. barium bromate monohydrate, in an amount of preferably 2-15pts.wt. based on 100pts.wt. components (A) and (B) and a viscosity increasing agent, e.g. carboxymethyl cellulose. |
