PURPOSE:To enable the use of a bank book with magnetic stripes and to simplify the input operation, by transmitting data read from the magnetic stripes to a central system, in an on-line system of bank book without magnetic stripes. CONSTITUTION:Data such as account number, residual of transaction, money amount of transaction, number of lines of printed line designation of a bank book with magnetic stripes are inputted from an input device 2 and set to an input/transmission register 3 and transmitted to a central system. The input data is saved to a save register 5 and the number of line data is set to a number of line counter 10. The central system transmits described data to a terminal device 1 after required processing. When the terminal device 1 receives the booked data, the data for accounting number, amount of transaction, and residual are picked up and printed from a shunt register 5 and a reception register 4, and the line feed data is picked up for the renewal of the line number data, to write to the magnetic stripes of a bank book. |
