PURPOSE:To enable feeding of a power at only a using time without preheating of a heater and to cause coloring of a concealed mark of a ticket without a waiting time, by a method wherein a pulse is generated with the transfer of the ticket to a heater, and the heater is heated through the detection of the pulse. CONSTITUTION:Firstly, a ticket 1 is inserted between guide plates 2 and 3, and conveyed to a heater 6 through a feed roller 4. A roller 5 and slitted disc 9 also turn following rotation of the roller 4, and a pulse a1 is generated from a pulse generating circuit 12 through detection of the ticket by means of a sensor 10. Then, a retrigger enabling timer circuit 13 detects the pulse a1 to transmit a signal for flowing a current for a given time T, and if a succeeding pulse a2 is generated for the time T, a signal is transmitted in a similar manner to feed a power to a heater 6 during the output of a pulse. If the ticket 1 stops moving in the middle due to some reason, a power suspends being supplied immediately, the ticket 1 is prevented from damaging.
