<p>The circular saw may be used to cut tiles, using a water-bath (11) to both lay the dust and cool the blade (13). The blade is mounted in a case which regulates the amount of water used, the case being partly immersed in the bath. The case comprises two side plates (20) and a bottom plate (21) and is fed bath water through free inlets (27). The output of water is controlled by a flap (28) extending at the bottom in the direction of wheel rotation. The flap pivots to modify the output, ita axle (29) being normal to the case walls. The flap may have two wings (31) radiating from the axle, acting in conjunction with a fixed outlet deflector (35), and sited at the downstream end of the case. The case inlet may comprise holes and one of its walls may be demountable.</p> |
