The invention relates to a method for the production of thin-walled sheet-metal parts in which appropriate reinforcing elements in the form of beads, ribs and the like have to be made in order to provide strength. The aim of the invention is to provide a method for the production of sheet-metal parts by which greater stability of drawn sheet-metal parts is achieved and to permit a reduction in the thickness of the starting material. The technical object which the invention is intended to achieve consists in making reinforcing beads, ribs and similar reinforcing elements during the drawing of thin-walled sheet-metal parts while ensuring that these elements do not have any critical points in their drawing radii as regards loadability. According to the invention, the object is achieved by virtue of the fact that the material reserves required for the complete formation of the reinforcing elements in the working steps which follow the first draw are provided in the first draw, the sheet expediently being held during this operation, and that the thickness of the material of the sheet is retained in the formation of the reinforcing elements from the reserve of material created in the first draw. <IMAGE>
