PURPOSE:To enable to measure simply and directly variation of temperature and variation of pressure of a transformer for vehicle by a method wherein variation of temperature in windings and insulating oil and variation of pressure in insulating walls are led out outwardly through optical fibers having photo detecting tip ends applied with special luminous paint respectively. CONSTITUTION:The transformer is constituted of the windings 1 wound around a core 2 and built in a tank 5, the insulating walls 15 arranged between mutual winding conductors 11, and a cooler 8 to make insulating oil 9 in the tank 5 to circulate and to cool through a piping 6 and a pump 7. At least one piece of photo fiber out of photo fibers 13 applied at the photo detecting tip end with luminous paint to emit light by temperature variation and arranged in the windings 1 and insulating oil 9, and a photo fiber 12 applied at the photo detecting tip end with the luminous paint to emit light by variation of pressure and arranged inside of the insulating wall 15, is led out outside of the tank 5 to be connected to a measuring apparatus 16, and temperature or pressure is measured. |
