<p>The machine fills pots with earth, having a feed mechanism for the earth, an elevator with separate driving members lifting the earth and discharging at a higher level, and a conveyor on which the pots stand. Each pot is placed under a discharging elevator member in order to be filled. The feed mechanism comprises a hopper with a flat rectangular bottom, over and parallel to which an open frame (12) with transverse bars (13) moves to and fro. The cross-section of the bars is such as to move the earth in the direction of the elevator (1).</p> |
