<p>The valve gate with a flow passage is held between two shaped housing sections which are in turn held by an outer casing, and the gate has a hollow ferrule tube extending from the passage. The body of the valve has a guide recess for the tube which allows the latter and the seal to pivot for at least a quarter turn, opening and closing the valve. The free end of the tube has a thread, flange or notches that allow the connection of a conduit to the valve.</p> |
