In this process, a triacetonediamine derivative is employed as a hardener of 1,2-epoxide compounds having more than one 1,2-epoxide group in the molecule; advantageously, the derivative is used in an amount such as to provide 0.5-1.1, preferably 0.75-1.0, amine hydrogen equivalents per 1,2-epoxide equivalent. The coatings obtained by applying the powder lacquer to an article to be coated, and hardening at an elevated temperature, are distinguished by improved UV stability and weathering stability. |
