PURPOSE:To detect the trouble of a diode by detecting the amplitude and period of the ripple component of the output of a rectifying circuit by means of the detecting circuit consisting of a differentiation circuit. CONSTITUTION:The output (1) of the rectifying circuit REC is supplied to the differentiation circuits CC, RC and output (2) is obtained. When the diode of the rectifying circuit REC is normal, the charging voltage of a capacitor C0 reaches only reference voltage VSID or lower because a transistor Q1 is conducted, and trouble signals are not outputted. When the diode gets trouble, on the other hand, the transistor Q1 is not conducted during the rectifying period of the trouble diode because there is no output from the differentiation circuits CC, RC during that period, the charging voltage (3) of the capacitor C0 increases, and trouble signals (4) are outputted from an output terminal. |
