PURPOSE:To increase the strength of the combination of a commutator segment and a molding agent by forming a hook section inside an end section at the terminal side of the segment, shaping a wedge member inside an end section at the anti-terminal side and unifying the hook section and the wedge member by the molding agent. CONSTITUTION:A plate material 1, both sides thereof have thin stepped sections 3, 5, is prepared, and a blank 11 with the terminal sections 7, which have the stepped sections 3, and the wedge members 9 is punched and worked from the plate material 1. The blank 11 is bent and worked in a cylindrical shape that has the terminal sections 7 and the wedge members 9 in the axial direction, the wedge members 9 are bent inside while the hook section pieces 13 are drawn and erected from the stepped sections 3 of the terminal sections 7, and the hook section pieces are also bent inside. The blank 11 is arranged into a die, and molded integrally by the molding agent 15, slits are lastly formed in the axial direction of the blank 11, and the blank is separated at every each segment. |
