Contact disc for coupling etched conductor paths - has regular segment bent in alternating directions to contact rings associated with respective paths

The contact disc for coupling etched conductor paths is made of corrosion-resistant spring tempered metal and is divided into regularly spaced segments. These are bent in alternating directions at a defined angle to make contact with upper and lower contact rings associated respectively with the two conductor paths. Pref. the spring force of each segment compensates the thermal and dynamic parameters so that the transfer resistance of the contact point remains the same. The two printed circuit boards and the contact rings and discs sandwiched between them are held together by pins fitting through the centres of the aligned contact rings and the intermediate contact disc.
