<p>An automatic printer is designed specifically for use with cheques. The printer mechanism allows all information to be printed simultnaeously. The cheque is located vertically in a slot behind the front panel which contains a keyboard (36) for entry of the amount and the various print units. Three sets (7,8,9) of print units are dedicated to the printing of the amount. One unit (4) is set to print the recipient of the cheque and another the issuing account (5). The date is represented by another set (35). All print punches operate together when the main key (30) is operated.</p> |
