PURPOSE:To prevent color disagreement and to enable >=3 color multicolor recording, by returning a recording sheet to the start position of the first color recording after having recorded the first color, and executing the second and the following color recording. CONSTITUTION:An electrostatic recording sheet 1 is moved in the direction of arrow 4 with drive rollers 2a, 2b, a Y color latent image is formed with an electrostatic recording head 5 of multistylus electrodes driven with a Y color recording signal, and developed with a Y color developing device 6Y, and fixed. Then, the sheet 1 is reversely moved with the roller 2a, again moved to the arrow 4 direction, and the start position of the Y color recording is detected with the pulse generator 8 of a motor 3. The sheet 1 is developed to an M color using the head 5 driven with an M color recording signal, and an M color developing device 6M, and fixed. The following C color development and fixation are likewise carried out, thus permitting >=3 color multicolor recording is executed without causing color disagreement. |
